LDA Sports Complex allows members to temporarily freeze their membership under specific circumstances. This policy outlines the terms and conditions.
1. What is Membership Freezing?
Membership freezing is a temporary suspension of membership privileges and monthly dues. During the freeze period, members will not have access to any LDA Sports Complex facilities, and no monthly fees will be charged. The membership will automatically reactivate at the end of the approved freeze period.
2. Eligibility for Freezing
Members may request a freeze under the following circumstances:
- Medical reasons: Injury, illness, or medical procedure requiring extended recovery (medical certificate required).
- Travel or relocation: Extended travel abroad or temporary relocation outside Lahore for a minimum of 30 consecutive days.
- Personal circumstances: Other valid personal reasons, subject to management approval.
3. Freeze Duration
- Minimum freeze period: 1 month (30 calendar days).
- Maximum freeze period: 3 months (90 calendar days) per calendar year.
- Freeze periods can be taken in one continuous block or split into multiple periods, provided each period is at least 30 days.
- Extensions beyond 3 months may be considered in exceptional cases with supporting documentation.
4. How to Request a Freeze
- Visit your registered branch at least 7 days before the desired freeze start date.
- Complete the Membership Freeze Request Form.
- Provide supporting documentation (medical certificate, travel documents, etc.) if applicable.
- Ensure all current monthly dues are paid up to the date of the freeze commencement.
- Receive written confirmation of the approved freeze period from branch management.
5. Freezing Fee
A nominal administrative fee may apply for processing freeze requests. This fee is determined by the branch management and is payable at the time of submitting the freeze request. The freezing fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the member decides to unfreeze early.
6. Early Unfreezing
Members who wish to reactivate their membership before the scheduled end of the freeze period may do so by:
- Visiting their registered branch and submitting a written request.
- Paying the applicable monthly dues from the date of reactivation.
- Please allow up to 3 business days for reactivation processing.
7. Automatic Reactivation
At the end of the approved freeze period, the membership will automatically reactivate. Monthly dues will resume from the reactivation date. It is the member's responsibility to ensure payment details are current to avoid any lapses in membership status.
