Membership Transfer Policy

Under specific conditions, LDA Sports Complex permits the transfer of membership between branches or to another individual. This policy details the applicable terms.

1. Types of Transfer

LDA Sports Complex supports two types of membership transfers:

  • Branch Transfer: Transferring your existing membership from one LDA Sports Complex branch to another.
  • Person Transfer: Transferring your membership to an immediate family member (spouse, parent, sibling, or child above 16 years of age).

2. Branch Transfer

Eligibility

Members who have held an active membership for a minimum of 3 months at their current branch may apply for a branch transfer. The transfer is subject to availability at the requested branch.

Process

  1. Submit a Branch Transfer Request Form at your current registered branch.
  2. Ensure all outstanding dues at the current branch are cleared.
  3. Pay any applicable fee differential between branches (if the new branch has higher fees).
  4. Pay the branch transfer processing fee.
  5. Await approval from both the current and receiving branch management (typically 10 business days).
  6. Upon approval, a new membership card for the receiving branch will be issued.

Fee Adjustments

If the receiving branch has higher monthly dues, the member will be required to pay the difference from the transfer effective date. If the receiving branch has lower monthly dues, the lower rate will apply from the transfer date. No refunds will be issued for fee differentials.

3. Person Transfer

Eligibility

Membership may only be transferred to immediate family members. The transferring member must have held an active membership for a minimum of 6 months. The recipient must meet all standard membership eligibility requirements.

Process

  1. Both the transferring member and the recipient must visit the branch together.
  2. Submit a completed Person Transfer Application Form with valid CNIC copies of both parties.
  3. Provide proof of family relationship (e.g., family registration certificate, CNIC with matching family details).
  4. Clear all outstanding dues under the current membership.
  5. Pay the person transfer processing fee.
  6. The recipient will undergo standard member registration, including photographs.
  7. Allow up to 10 business days for processing and approval.

4. Transfer Fees

  • Branch Transfer Fee: A fixed administrative charge will apply, determined by the branch management.
  • Person Transfer Fee: A fixed administrative charge, plus any applicable fee differential for the new member's category.
  • All transfer fees are non-refundable.

5. Restrictions

  • Each membership may only be transferred once per calendar year.
  • Platinum memberships (all-access) are not eligible for person transfer.
  • Promotional or discounted memberships may have additional transfer restrictions.
  • LDA Sports Complex reserves the right to deny any transfer request at its discretion.

6. Post-Transfer Terms

Upon successful transfer, the new membership (whether branch or person) will be governed by the current terms, policies, and fee structure in effect at the receiving branch. Any previously applied discounts, promotions, or special conditions will not carry over to the transferred membership.
